Real Estate: All properties sold strictly AS-IS. Homes built prior to 1978 may contain lead-based paint. 10% buyer's premium will be added to each successful bid. 10% non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of sale, with remainder due in 30 days or less. Personal property to be removed on days announced unless other arrangements are made. The auction has an "auto extend" feature enabled. This means if a property gets a bid within the last 5 minutes of the sale, then the property automatically extends for 5 minutes. For example, if Sale 2 gets a bid at 1:59PM day of auction closing, then it will extend to 2:04PM, and so on, until all bidding is exhausted. This closely mimics a Live Auction. Once all bidding is exhausted, and no more bids are received, then the time will tick down to zero, and the auction will close and the top bidder will be awarded as the winner of the auction. There is also an "extend all" feature enabled on the real estate. If properties WITHIN THE SAME CATALOG get extended, then all will extend. For example, if sale 2 gets a bid in the last 5 minutes and extends, then sale 3 will extend automatically, and so on. McCarter Auction is a Marknet Alliance member. Personal property: 15% Buyer's premium added. Everything sold strictly AS-IS. Items must be paid in full day of sale. The credit card on file will be charged unless other arrangements are made prior to the close of the auction. Pick-up will be on the days designated by the Auction company.
